Unfortunately the bank changed the details of the downloaded bank transactions, removing payment details and replacing them with the transaction date. For now, we need to make sure that the affected accounts are correct which is an Income account. That way, we don’t need to modify all the transactions since it’ll post to the appropriate accounts. I checked all the list that I know off, but have not found the one QB uses for downloaded transactions. I would like to delete all of them that QB does not use any defaults. We have our clients who pay direct to insurance companies who in turn then send us a check for a certain dollar amount depending on how ever many clients paid that month.

What Is a Payee?

If possible I just would like the date, the bank memo, then payee, account, payment, deposit and action. I changed the company preferences and also set the check box to “Show bank memo”. And it has some more information about the transaction. I would suggest disabling the automatic creation of renaming rules to prevent QuickBooks from changing and assigning names and accounts to your transactions.

You can also choose to only pay part of the open balance. In that case, change the value in the payment column to the amount you want to pay. You can pay both vendors and contractors using direct deposit. I work for a real estate firm and i pay my realtors commissions only (non payroll). I currently have them set up as “vendors”  and write a check and then print. I need the direct deposit to be timely, ie two days or less. For online payments, you’ll provide the payee’s name and account details when setting up an electronic funds transfer.

I would love any other ideas you could give me! So, I paid close attention to what I am seeing and not seeing. I see the payee on checks, deposits and payments, but not journal entries.
